MAHAKALESHWAR TEMPLE UJJAIN 

A Journey

Here I write my journey towards 4th jyotirlinga ( Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga ) Amongst 12 jyotirlinga in India. I started my journey for Ujjain Mahakal from Mumbai Central at 8.55 pm and reached Ujjain station at 7.30 am in the morning by (Avantika express 12961) 495/-. 

After 10 hours of journey we reached Ujjain and took a rickshaw on sharing bases at 20/- per person and reached my hotel Dwarkadish at 8.20 am.

Breakfast in Ujjain 

After reaching hotel had bath and got freshen up and left for best breakfast in Ujjain and had best poha in Ujjain in satyug hotel near by my stay. I had one plate of poha and puri sabji which costed my around 90/- waah bhai kya majja aagaya kha ke ;p 

Mahakaleshwar Ujjain Darshan booking

There are three ways of darshan, Common Darshana for all the people starts at 7.30 am in the morning and is totally free of cost, another way of darshan is by booking a vip Darshana in garbhgrah for 1500/- which can be done on their official website https://shrimahakaleshwar.com/. 3rd way of Dharshan is the world famous bhasma Aarti Ujjain the Aarti takes place at 4.00 am in the morning this Aarti is done by ash of the death body of human being. In this Aarti ladies have to wear compulsory Indian dress and for men its dhoti and shawl.

I took Darshan in vip by paying 1500/- at 1.00 pm what a spiritual journey I had. The vibe of taking darshan of garbhgrah is unbelievable so I would suggest everyone should visit Ujjain Mahakaleshwar temple garbhgrah once in a life time for your inner peace
